SPANISH CUISINE
Spanish cuisine is famous for their delightful tastes and textures that fill with flavours and spices. It is influenced greatly by regional cuisines and relates to the historical monuments that shaped the Spanish culture. Their warm climate and place in the map also shaped the flavour of the cuisine and cooking methods. Local Spanish culture grows their own ingredients which give their local food a truly authentic taste.
The modern age has brought many new ingredients to play, mainly that of vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and furthermore cocoa vanilla for those who have a sweet tooth. The Spanish culture takes their meal very seriously and enjoys it to the fullest with large groups of friends and family, which is apart of their culture. A typical Spanish lunch for the local contains several courses and is not finished till 'Sobremesa' which means table-talk. Although they like their meals to the fullest at the comfort of their own home it's always food for thought. They will be content with some pasta, meat and salad to conclude their day while looking forward to the next afternoon of scrumptious eating with the help of their culinary talented friends and family.
