Thai Food
Today we'll be covering one of my favourite foods to eat, Thai Food! Thai food is quite interesting as many of the dishes served are a mixture of the five main flavours (salty, sour, sweet, spicy or bitter). A good example of this is Pad Thai. Pad Thai is a rice noodle dish that uses different flavouring elements such as chilli peppers for spice, lemons/limes for sourness and soy sauce or fish sauce for salty seasoning.

Another interesting element of Thai Food is the use of fruits within main dishes. Unorthodox fruits such as papaya's, jackfruits and even mango are used within many savoury dishes within the Thai cuisine. One of my personal favourite dishes is the mango salad, a sweet and spicy salad that creates a very interesting combination of hot and cold within the mouth. I highly recommend people to try it if they haven't already!
